Paris was the scene – and Israel/China business relations was the topic - of the 9th in the Pan-European Round Table series, featuring Dr. Daniel Rouach and Arnon Perlman as keynote speakers.
President of the CCIF ( Chambre de commerce et d'industrie du canton de Fribourg) and an acknowledged expert in economic intelligence, Dr. Rouach founded the information website ‘Israel Valley’ and has been a consultant to prominent companies on a range of international projects. He is also a Professor at ESCP and Tel Aviv University.
Arnon Perlman, the Israel Bonds Executive Director of International Sales and Operations for Europe and Latin America, was stationed in Shanghai in 2014 following his appointment as consul general at the Consulate of Israel.
Rouach and Perlman spoke about the mechanics of doing business in China and the particular business synergies being forged between Israel and China.
Both speakers emphasized the mutual respect that exists between Israel and China, while pointing out that navigating the Chinese marketplace can often fail or succeed based on learning the cultural and linguistic nuances of business negotiations.
Moreover, both Israelis and Chinese are known for a robust entrepreneurial spirit, as well as a fast-moving, innovative approach to business deals and development.
Q & A followed, and everyone expressed their gratitude to Israel Bonds for arranging this timely and topical event, another example of the quality content and networking opportunities made available to Round Table participants.
