In France, as everywhere else in the world, we live in an unprecedented situation. Doctors and scientists from all over the world are on the warpath to fight the invisible public enemy, COVID19.
While opinions and treatment protocols may differ, everyone agrees that social distancing is what can curb the pandemic and save lives. Confinement and teleworking have therefore become the new relational mode.
At Israel Bonds, our offices are closed, but our business continues and grows. The whole Israel Bonds France team meets several times a day via web meeting. We work separately but together. Sometimes, the voices of teenagers or young children's cries may be heard
in the background.
Although real-life interactions are preferable to virtual ones, we continue to strengthen our ties with our clients who are appreciative of our calls to check in on them, and recognize the social and ambassadorial role for Israel that our organization embraces.
Remembering our most recent Women's Division event in Paris for International Women's Dayat the Rafael institute, "The Art of Reinventing Ourselves", we are reminded that today, more than ever, confinement invites us to reinvent ourselves. To change our view of the world and of others, to focus on the essential, to free ourselves from the superfluous, to prepare for a Kosher Passover V’sameah!
Our Women's Division held its 2nd 2020 committee meeting online, connecting participants from Paris & Lyon, to decide on a series of upcoming joint events as part of our virtual events at home series. So, at Israel Bonds - physically separated yes… but always "united we’re stronger"!
