Inspiring Lessons from Dragon Tactics

I was thrilled to participate in a recent event organized by the Women's Division of Israel Bonds and have the opportunity to discuss with such a high-quality audience my book, Dragon Tactics: How Chinese Entrepreneurs Thrive in Uncertainty. It was a true pleasure to talk about my work and see the interest it generated among the attendees.
During the meeting, I had the chance to present some of the lessons on how to ride the current wave of change that Western company leaders can learn from Chinese entrepreneurs, who themselves get their inspiration from a mix of China’s four-thousand-year-old history and the hypercompetitive and highly uncertain environment in which they developed their enterprises. As a result, their management methods borrow as much from Confucianism as from new technologies.
The event was very interactive, and the ensuing discussions were extremely rewarding. The audience members asked insightful questions and expressed their appreciation for the inspiring message conveyed in my book. They were curious to hear about examples of the unexpected philosophies of Chinese business leaders on competition, risk, profit and failure, as well as of the role of family in Chinese business culture. Their enthusiasm and support touched me deeply.

The Women's Division of Israel Bonds created a warm and inclusive space where everyone could freely express themselves and find mutual inspiration, whether they were already familiar with Chinese business culture or not. Interestingly, a number of attendees compared the Chinese business culture with the Israeli one and discussed the relationship between China and Israel.
I was impressed by the organization of the event and how they successfully brought together passionate individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
I am deeply grateful to the Women's Division of Israel Bonds for giving me this unique opportunity to discuss my book with such an interested and attentive audience, and to feel the invaluable support of a committed community. I wish to express my personal gratitude to Elizabeth Cohen and Catherine Lacrosnière for this rewarding experience.
I am also very happy and proud to have contributed in my own way to the efforts of Israel Bonds.
