Israel Bonds Women’s Division, together with representatives and leaders from various Jewish community organisations in São Paulo, joined a march on Paulista Avenue to advocate for an end to violence against women Sunday, December 1^st. Paulista Avenue is one of São Paulo’s most iconic streets, often hosting major demonstrations and causes.

The Jewish community organisations that took part in the wider march also highlighted the plight of hostages who continue to be held captive in Gaza for over 430 days. With resolute determination, participants united their voices, chanting: “Free the hostages! Free the hostages!”

We stand as the voice for these women, who’s plight is often ignored and forgotten. We remain unwavering in our commitment to see their freedom realized and we will not rest until that happens. We hope this movement inspires tangible actions from those in a position to make a difference.
