The Vibrant Art of Batsheva Bouskila
Batsheva Bouskila
France
Batsheva Bouskila has had a passion for drawing, painting, materials and colors since childhood.
She has been taught by various artists, and paints mainly in watercolor and acrylic.
Inspired by Chagall and Moretti, she develops themes of peace, hope and joy. Hebrew letters are also a source of inspiration.
Through Hebrew letters, Batsheva conveys gentleness and an aura of serenity that fights against the tumult of the world. Her works inspire and suggest that we can rise above ourselves to realize our own personal dreams, causing an observer to make peace within themselves, or with something that has upset them. Batsheva paints mainly on large canvases, but she also decorates religious documents and items.
In addition, her paintings reflect a strong emotional and cultural connection with Israel, highlighting
once more themes of peace, as well as tradition and natural beauty.
She has been exhibiting regularly since 2004, notably at Chagall Bitboul's Kinor Gallery in Lyon.
