Israel Bonds presents Israeli start-ups in BMW World
On April 8th, Development Company for Israel (International) Ltd./Israel Bonds, together with the Consulate of the State of Israel in Southern Germany, presented three Israeli start-up companies BMW World in Munich. Among the guests were Arnon Perlman, Executive Director for International Sales and Operations of Israel Bonds (Europe and Latin America) and Helmut Käs, Head of BMW World. Representing the Consulate of the State of Israel was Yifat Inbar, consul of Economic Affairs.
In his welcoming address, Michael Grauss, director of Israel Bonds in Germany, pointed out the special role of Israel Bonds today: "The Israel Bonds organization has been acting as a broker for Israeli government bonds since 1951. In addition, we also see ourselves as a link to Israel. All over the world people benefit from groundbreaking medical, agricultural, and safety-related innovations being developed in Israel. Not surprisingly, Israel ranks fifth in the current Bloomberg Innovation Index - ahead of Singapore and Japan."
As an example of this special spirit of innovation, start-ups from Israel presented their innovative approaches to make production more efficient and safer. This was followed by a lively discussion on the approaches presented, the opportunities this offers for German companies, and the general climate of innovation in Israel.
