On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, the ACCIL Center in Levallois welcomed nearly 250 attendees for an evening jointly organized by Israel Bonds and ACCIL, celebrating Gilles-William Goldnadel’s latest book, Vol au-dessus d’un nid de cocu (“Flight Over a Cuckoo’s Nest”). Guests enjoyed an evening filled with thoughtful discussion, insight, and a chance to connect with one of France’s most recognized legal and media voices.

The evening began with a warm welcome from Ari Assayag, representing ACCIL. He expressed gratitude to the event’s partners and highlighted the center’s commitment to fostering dialogue and culture, noting its annual program of more than 30 events. He also praised the ongoing collaboration with Israel Bonds, emphasizing the meaningful impact of the partnership.

Jonathan, representing Israel Bonds, then introduced the organization, its mission, and our vital role in supporting Israel’s economy, outlining how their support translates into impactful results. Following him, Régis, one of Israel Bonds’ most prominent lay leaders in France, delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging participants to actively support Israel Bonds. His words resonated with the audience and were met with enthusiastic applause.

The highlight of the evening was Gilles-William Goldnadel. The well-known lawyer, essayist, and media commentator, familiar to many from his television appearances, captivated the audience with a passionate, uninterrupted talk that extended late into the evening showcasing the depth and the intensity of the subject.

His presentation was followed by a lively Q&A session, where attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with the author. Many also took the chance to speak with him personally and have their copies of the book signed, making the evening both intellectually enriching and personally memorable.
