To mark the two-year anniversary of October 7, the São Paulo Jewish community gathered at the Hebraica Sports and Community Centre for a powerful evening of remembrance and solidarity. The event was held on the Sunday ahead of the solemn anniversary and organized by the São Paulo Jewish Federation (FISESP) for the entire Jewish community. The event united people of all ages to honour the victims of Hamas’s terrorist attacks on Israel and to call for the release of all the hostages.

A Permanent Memorial was unveiled during the ceremony, creating a space for reflection and remembrance. It will serve as a lasting symbol of unity, and hope for the Jewish people, and of all who stand for life and peace.

Hundreds of people, dressed in blue and white, gathered in fraternity, sending a clear message  with one heart: we stand united for Israel, for memory, and for freedom.
