Celebrating Two Decades of Success
It is with great pleasure that we would like to congratulate Hanita Ajnwojner, Israel Bonds Germany’s Deputy Managing Director, on her 20th anniversary with Israel Bonds. Two decades of service is a remarkable achievement, and a testament to her commitment, dedication and valuable contributions to the success of our company.
During this time, Hanita has not only gained valuable experience, but has also been instrumental in the growth and development of our team and projects. Her professionalism, expertise and team spirit are an inspiration to us all.
To learn more about Hanita, we sat down with her for a short interview:
What changes have you noticed in the working world over the years?
Hanita: Our technological development has meant that a lot of things have become digital, and this has made working in a home office possible. But on the other hand, you can see that clients value personal contact very much.
What skills or qualities have helped you to be successful in
your career?
Hanita: I am a mother of four children who can manage time and needs to be well-organized. Through my experience as a mother, I have learned to relate to the different characters of people.
Are there any special moments or projects that have remained particularly memorable for you?
Hanita: There are many! A couple of years ago, it was our great pleasure to invite the governor of the Deutsche Bundesbank to visit Israel and meet the Minister of Finance, the governor of the Bank of Israel and other interesting and important people. I also have very positive memories of my trip to Israel on and Israel Bonds delegation, and from the staff retreat in New York.
How did you deal with challenges or stress in the work environment?
Hanita: With a lot of patience and discipline. As I said, I am a mother of four children. I learned my discipline as a dancer from an early age. I was a professional dancer in the theater and that's where I learned not to let
a team down.
What aspects of your work have you enjoyed the most?
Hanita: I have enjoyed the personal conversations with the clients the most. It is very nice to see that my work is intergenerational. Children and grandchildren of our clients also want to invest with us.
How have you found the balance between work and personal life?
Hanita: It's like riding a bike, which I do every day to get to work. You must keep the balance by focusing
on the essentials.
Who has influenced you; who were your role models?
Hanita: My role model is my colleague, David Bar-On, International Affairs Consultant of Israel Bonds. He has inspired me. He always advocated going to clients to seek face-to-face meetings.
What does the State of Israel mean to you?
Hanita: For me, Israel is the land of my birth, my life insurance. Never again will a Jew face closed borders like my parents' generation.
What has changed concerning your job since October 7th of last year?
Hanita: I have always known that working for Israel Bonds is meaningful, but now Israel faces a crisis that the state has never experienced before in modern history. It is my duty to do everything in my power to support my beloved Israel and its citizens. Am Israel Chai!
We thank Hanita for taking the time to sit down for this interview with us and greatly appreciate her work and dedication. We look forward to continuing to move successfully with you into the future. Here's to the next years together and many more successes! Congratulations again on this impressive milestone!
