I was in awe to see the people of Israel so united and determined to win the war against Hamas. I experienced firsthand the heartwarming solidarity among Israelis. It seems that every Israeli is doing everything possible to support our IDF soldiers and each other. Israelis are volunteering in the fields of farmers who lost essential working hands, preparing home-cooked meals for frontline soldiers, teaching kids who were evacuated from their homes at temporary schools across Israel, and so much more. Jews are united together around the world with the understanding that this is a war about our Jewish homeland’s right to exist. Israel fights with determination and valour against those who committed the worst crimes against the Jewish people since the Holocaust. More than 170 IDF soldiers paid the unbearable price of sacrificing their own lives since the IDF manoeuvres in Gaza. There were also thousands who were injured and will remain both physically and mentally disabled for life.

From Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon to the Houthi in Yemen and the Shia terrorists in Iraq, the common denominator is Iran. This is why the result of this war is so crucial not only to the State of Israel, bur for the entire free world. The Israeli soldiers who are risking their lives are doing that not only to secure their home, the State of Israel, but for all of us.

The State of Israel is strong, but it’s even stronger thanks to the enormous support it has been receiving from the Jewish communities around the world. The resources Israel Bonds has raised play an important role in Israel’s billions of dollars of financial requirements resulting from the war. We still have a lot of work to do, and Israel needs us to be there together with her to win this war.

I felt compelled to visit kibbutz Kfar Aza, to see what happened with my own eyes. It was one of the hardest days
of my life.

I entered the remains of a home where a couple was burned alive. I walked through a compound of 10 homes where children of the kibbutz lived happily until that terrible Saturday.

I literally walked through a valley of shadow and death. In each home the young residents were either tortured and murdered or kidnapped.

The State of Israel has a huge obligation to eradicate the Hamas terrorist threat not just for the sake of retaliation but for resuming Israel’s deterrence, bring the country back to days of prosperity and peace, and bring back the hostages.

It is also Israel Bonds’ most important time and mission ever: to support the State of Israel and its people during its most difficult hour and to rebuild together. I am confident that with your devotion and support, standing powerful and united, we will overcome all our enemies and come out stronger.
