An Unforgettable Smoked Salmon Experience at H. Forman and Son
On 28th June, Israel Bonds Women’s Division in the UK, in partnered with El-Al and Leket UK, to host a delightful smoked salmon experience at the renowned H. Forman and Son smokehouse.
The day began with an engaging talk by Lance Forman, owner of H. Forman and Son. Lance shared the rich history of the family business, founded in 1905. He recounted challenges faced during the London Olympic Games and the resilience shown during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a former Member of the European Parliament, Lance's personal story captivated the audience.
Following Lance's talk, guests were given an exclusive tour of the smokery. They witnessed the intricate process of curing and carving salmon, gaining insight into the meticulous care taken at each step. The highlight was Darren Matson's expert demonstration. Darren, who holds a Guinness World Record for the fastest time to bone and slice a smoked salmon, showcased his remarkable skills, leaving the audience in awe of his craftsmanship.
The event concluded with a sumptuous lunch featuring a variety of smoked salmon dishes. Guests savoured the exceptional quality and flavour that H. Forman and Son is known for.
