On June 13th, Israel Bonds Women´s Division held an exclusive event in São Paulo. We were hosted at the official residence of the Consul General of Israel in Brazil, Rafael Erdreich, and his wife Maya. More than sixty women attended and were treated to an elegant cocktail hour and a unique event. Israel Bonds Women’s Division members spoke of their connection to Israel Bonds, and Eyla Benedykt, Israel Bonds’ representative in Brazil, introduced Israel Bonds to many of the new faces in the crowd.

The Consul General spoke of the necessity of supporting the State of Israel and transmitting this value to the younger generations. “It’s our obligation to strengthen the connection between the Jewish people and the State of Israel.” he said.

The highlight of the event was hearing from Vivian Aisen, a diplomat from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, who spoke about the Abraham Accords (with The United Arab Emirates and Bahrain), the Oslo Agreement (with the PLO) and relations with countries such as Syria, Morocco, Iran, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon. It was a very inspiring night of socializing that left the guests delighted to hear about Israel Bonds and and to appreciate such complex topics.
