A Toast to Shavuot with Israeli Wines

Israel Bonds and Manna UK came together for a toast to the holiday of Shavuot with an exquisite Israeli wine tasting event, hosted by the west end-based law firm Seddons. The selection of wines, generously provided by Kedem, ensured a delightful experience for everyone present.

The tasting was led by Tal Sunderland Cohen, a renowned wine expert known for his deep knowledge and passion for wine. Often referred to as the "Wine Ambassador," Tal serves as the Director at The Wine Guild of The United Kingdom. He is a distinguished consultant, educator, and writer, and is also a member of the Circle of Wine Writers. Tal's work includes contributions as a wine journalist for The Jewish News, Israel's financial newspaper Globes, and Wine & Gourmet magazine.

Tal shared his insights on the unique characteristics of Israeli wines, explaining how the diverse landscapes and innovative winemaking techniques create their distinct flavours. His engaging style made the session both informative and enjoyable, enhancing attendees' appreciation for wines from Israel.

The evening of Israeli wine tasting in honour of Shavuot offered participants a chance to network and say a few l’chaims all while bringing people together from the community to learn more the important work of both Israel Bonds and Manna UK at the Seddons office.
