Andrew M. Hutter, MD was elected the national and international chairman of the Board of Directors of Israel Bonds on February 28, 2024. Andrew has been involved with Israel Bonds for more than 20 years and has spearheaded many committees during that time. He began his tenure with leadership positions in metro New Jersey, serving as chairman of the medical division and then general chairman of the metro New Jersey campaign. He also co-founded the national medical division of Israel Bonds. Andrew has led many medical delegations to Israel on behalf of Israel Bonds. Nationally, he has served on the board for 15 years, most recently as vice chairman and treasurer of the board of directors. As chairman of the Mentorship Program, Andrew was instrumental in developing the next generation of Bonds leaders. He is proud that his wife Barbara and their children have taken an active role with Israel Bonds as well. Andrew is a graduate of Howard University College of Medicine and is an orthopedic surgeon in New Jersey

Howard L. Goldstein is senior partner at Citrin Cooperman, one of the nation's largest professional services firms. With more than 50 years of experience as a certified public accountant, Howard has broad knowledge in all tax strategies and planning for corporations, partnerships, individuals and start-up companies. Howard is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New Jersey Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and State of New Jersey Board of Certified Public Accountants.

Global President & CEO

Dani Naveh assumed the office of president & CEO of Development Corporation for Israel/Israel Bonds in December 2021. Dani came to Israel Bonds with extensive experience, holding key positions in government and the business and financial sectors. In government, he served as minister of health, a position in which he helped the national health care system to a post-recession turnaround, stabilizing it during one of Israel’s deepest and most severe financial crises. As minister of parliamentary affairs, Dani coordinated between the government and Knesset.

As a member of the Knesset, Dani served on committees that included Foreign Affairs & Defense; Constitution, Law and Justice; and Rights of the Child. He also headed the lobby for securing the release of IDF POW and MIA soldiers.

Moreover, prior to his ministerial positions, he served as cabinet secretary, administrating and coordinating the government agenda, its meetings and committees. As cabinet secretary, he led the Israeli side of the steering committee with the Palestinian Authority, and played a key role in the negotiating team that reached two major agreements with the Palestinians - the Wye River Memorandum and Hebron Agreement. He also played a central position in the continuing dialog between Israel and the U.S. Administration, and coordinated Israeli government activities against antisemitism. Previously, he served as an adviser to Israel’s minister of Defense and Foreign Affairs.

Dani moved to the business sector in 2007. He was an active chairman of the board of Clal Insurance and Finance, one of the largest financial groups in Israel, managing $60 billion in financial assets. He is the founder of Health Care Venture Capital Group, which established three funds, specializing in the field of MedTech and health care. He was the founder and chairman of the board of Sure-Tech investments, a public partnership investing in Insurtech and Fintech.

Additional business experience includes chairman of the board of Cann Pharmaceutical, one of the leading Israeli companies in the field of medical cannabis; and board chairman and member of different public and private companies.

Robert B. Issenman is President and CEO of Leader Auto Resources LAR Inc. (“LAR”), the largest procurement enterprise for automotive dealerships in North America, with a head office in Montreal, Canada. Prior to joining LAR in 1994, Robert Issenman was a senior partner in the preeminent Canadian and international law firm of Fasken Martineau as well as a member of its Executive Committee and Board. Awarded scholarly prizes by the McGill Faculty of Law, he graduated with a Bachelor of Civil Law in 1973 and was admitted to the bar in 1975. A founding member and National President for the Hong Kong Canada Business Association, Mr. Issenman has considerable professional experience throughout Asia. 

Jonathan is a real estate consultant in London UK, after retiring as a partner at international law firm CMS. He has been involved in Israel his whole life and has a home in Herzliya. He is passionate about art and culture and is chairman of UK Jewish Film. He has volunteered with Israel Bonds for more than five years and seen a substantial increase in investment from the UK. Jonathan was widowed in 2017 and has recently married his wife Sally. He has four children and seven grandchildren all of whom love Israel.  

Alex has spent over 20 years in Financial Services working across a wide set of global client segments covering multiple asset classes. He is today head of the 21Shares business in the UK and Israel, a leading global digital assets firm and lives in London with his wife and daughter.

Before joining 21Shares in December 2021, Alex spent the previous 15 years at BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, where he served in multiple leadership roles, including as the BlackRock and iShares Country Head for Israel for over a decade. Under his leadership, BlackRock became the largest global asset manager in Israel and opened an office in Tel Aviv, which included the establishment of a technology centre.

Jaime Schmidt Neuman has for several decades, worked as the Managing Director of family business, safety footwear manufactory, Calzado Van Vien—pioneers of the Official Mexican Standard of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare. Prior to this, he has worked in manufacturing management since 1971, with a university degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Politécnico Nacional. With a decades-long dedication to the industry, Jaime serves as Vice President of “CANAICAL”, Mexico’s National Chamber of the Footwear Industry. He also has a passion for—and entrepreneurship in—Real Estate, with multiple investments and developments, in both living and commercial spaces.

Jaime Schmidt Neuman is quite active in his community. He has been a board member of “Comunidad Bet El de México” since

2000, having served on the Board of Directors from 2007-2009, and has been the Chairperson of the Development Committee for Bet El’s new synagogue and community center since 2010. Additionally, Jaime served on the Mediating Committee in the Ashkenazi Community from 1990-2000.

Jaime is married to his wife, Deborah, and has three children and five grandchildren.

Since 2012, Jaime has been a Member of the International Board, Israel Bonds.

Michael Siegal is Executive Chairman of Olympic Steel Inc., and its former CEO. He currently serves as President, Maccabi World Union, as a member of the International Board, Israel Bonds and the Jewish Public Policy Institute. He is immediate past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI), the largest NGO in the State of Israel. He is the former New Leadership, campaign chair and chairman of the Board of the Israel Bonds organization. Michael served as the Chairman of the Cleveland Jewish Federation, Chair of the Board of the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA). He and his wife Anita endowed the Anita and Michael Siegal One Happy Camper Program, providing hundreds of scholarships to first time campers for Jewish camping experience. Anita and Michael have three children and five grandchildren.

Fred Zeidman serves as chair of WoodRock & Co., a full-service investment bank, and chairman emeritus of Gordian Group LLC, a U.S. investment bank specializing in board-level advice in complex, distressed, or ‘story’ financial matters. Fred is also co-chairman and director of the Council for a Secure America, an organization focused on the importance of Israel to the security of America. He also served as CEO and co-chairman of Good Works Acquisition Corp., a publicly held Special Purpose Acquisition Corp., until its sale. Fred is chair emeritus of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council, to which he was appointed by President George W. Bush in March 2002, serving until 2010. A prominent Houston-based business and civic leader, Fred is chair emeritus of the University of Texas Health Science System Houston. He was chairman of the Israel Bonds National Campaign Advisory Council from 2010 to 2017.
