Eshet Jail and Israel Bonds Host the Challah Prince in Mexico.
Uniting for a cause, Israel Bonds Women’s Division of Mexico together with Eshet Jail, had the honour of inviting Idan Chabasov, known as the Challah Prince, to join 300 women from Mexico in a moving display of support for Israel in these difficult times. Together we prayed for the hostages to return home, for each soldier to return safely to their family, and for all the families who lost a loved one as a result of October 7th, to find solace and comfort. Our focus was on acknowledging, empathizing with, and supporting the wives and mothers who are carrying the responsibility of their homes and families on their shoulders during this time.
“Thousands of women found themselves trapped in their emotions from one day to the other,” said Jenny Michan, cofounder of Eshet Jail. The emotional toll of having to take care of their kids, their job, and their house, all while coping with the preoccupation of having their husbands, and children, off fighting the war. Although we cannot solve any of these problems ourselves, we show our support through with specially curated gift kits, a symbolic gesture of solidarity and care from our hearts to theirs. Through this endeavor, we also support small businesses of young women who have made “Aliya”, by purchasing the products included in the kits from them.
Thank you, Eshet Jail for the incredible job you do supporting all these women, and for inviting us to join this fabulous event for a great cause.
Together, we are stronger.
