Yemy Sirazi, with her unwavering warmth and hospitality, graciously welcomes us into her home every year to observe International Women’s Day together. We revel in our celebrations and deeply appreciate the care she showers upon us. But this year, she truly outdid herself with an exceptional event. She arranged for Victoria Sirazi and Mariel Backal, both esteemed lawyers and co-founders of “Maapeja,” to deliver a thought-provoking talk on the violence faced by women due to their gender, titled “Fighting Gender Based Violence,” dedicated to us and in memory of the victims of October 7.

This eye-opening discussion broadened our horizons and left us feeling immensely proud to have connected with women dedicated to making a difference in the world. Kol Ha Kavod.
