Ariel Wizman and Anne Sinclair.

November 9th marked the resumption of physical, in-person events at the Paris office with an interview of well-known TV and radio interviewer Anne Sinclair, who hosted the most popular show in France for thirteen years.

The interview was conducted by Ariel Wizman, French journalist, musician, DJ and writer.

This event was hosted by Israel Bonds Women’s Division and under the auspices of our co-chair, Catherine Lacrosnière.

Analyzing public affairs was not only her passion but her duty.

The event was very well attended by more than fifty people, and we take great pride that representatives of our Women’s Division travelled from Lyon and Grenoble to join this very special event. Isabelle Amsallem, the second co-chair of our Women’s Division, who lives in Lyon, emphasized the need to get together as much as possible and wherever our events take place.

Anne Sinclair explained the process that led her to write about her life and especially how analyzing public affairs was not only her passion but also her duty, in order to give people access to key drivers of our public policy.

Anne Sinclair has been a role model for many and remains an example of resilience and leadership.

During the conversation, brilliantly led by Ariel Wizman, we discovered that Anne Sinclair had wanted to embrace a career in public affairs from the time she was young
and was willing to prove herself in a “man’s world.”
She also described a strong and demanding mother-daughter relationship that led her to always strive for excellence—a standard she often feels is not met in today’s journalism in France because of changes in the industry’s business model.

Anne Sinclair has been a role model for many and remains an example of resilience and leadership, so it was not surprising that during the book signing the followed the interview, most of the attendees stood in line like fans to get an autograph from her.

We are very grateful to both Anne and Ariel Wizman for such an inspiring and thought-provoking experience.
This event was also meant as an opportunity to promote the launch of our new online purchasing capacity, which many attendees supported by subscription to the newly introduced eMazal Tov Bonds.
