Israel Bonds the game!!
By México Women's Division
Bond to Bond is a children’s card game created by Women’s Division in Mexico with the aim of fostering and maintaining a strong connection, through play & storytelling, between Israel and children.
School kids tell stories about Israel, and develop their imaginations through images such as flags, maps, shields, and historical figures that represent both the history, culture, traditions, and technological development of Israel. There are also game card images specific to Israel Bonds.
The object of the game is to dispose of all the cards a player has been dealt. To play, each player overturns their top card. The youngest player goes first, inventing a story encompassing the eight symbols of the card they displayed. When other players hear the name of a symbol that also appears on their face-up card, they call out “bond to bond!,” and the first to do so becomes the next storyteller. Used cards are placed in the centre, and the first player to use up their cards wins the game.
While learning about and connecting with Israel in a fun, creative and engaging way, children are improving thinking skills and verbal communication, and learning respect for the rules of the game, as well as for their fellow players, be they classmates, playmates or family members.
“Fascinating!”

Morot and students
It has been fascinating to see how our students play while learning Israeli symbols and become familiar with important figures such as Herzl and
David Ben-Gurion.
We have had the opportunity to play the game Bond to Bond in different ways, including versions that were taught to us by our students.
It was also interesting to talk about the different flags that were part of the game and imagine how kids their age in France, UK, and Brazil would play the same game and share a connection to Israel and the Jewish culture.
Our students are excited to play again during class, and we are excited to keep on collaborating with you and being part of Israel Bonds. We want to thank you for the opportunity to be part of this project. Congratulations!
“Joy and Excitement”
Colegio Israelita de México ORT
There was great joy and excitement in the classroom when the fourth-grade students of the Colegio Israelita de México ORT received a wonderful card game from Israel Bonds to share with their families and classmates.
With a lot of enthusiasm and fun, our yeladim learned the rules of the game and enjoyed it in the company of their friends and morot. The children also took the game home to play with their families.
We are sure that this valuable educational material will allow Israel Bonds to reinforce the values of our people and encourage admiration for the richness of our Medinat Yisrael.
We are grateful to Israel Bonds for giving us this opportunity to
continue promoting Jewish education and strengthening our ties
with the State of Israel.

The enthusiasm and eagerness to learn more about Israel was so beautiful to see when we gave the Israel Bonds games to each of the fourth grade students! That enthusiasm was even more evident during our
Q & A, during which we heard them debate about Israel and the Diaspora connection. They enjoyed receiving this special gift, which we hope will help strengthen their already powerful bond with Israel. The kindergarten teachers also plan to use the games to teach younger students more about Israel through the symbols depicted.
A truly enriching and positive experience!
