Profiles in Leadership

Rabbi Charley Baginsky

I am sure I am not alone in wondering, as we enter this New Year, as to what lies ahead.

In fact, if there is a central theme then it is that of uncertainty.

A wise person once said that the most important words one could offer to another were “Gam zehyavor”, this too shall pass. Of course this applies to pain and suffering, but also to happy moments – may this be the year we remember the gift of present moments and being present in the moment; when we hold onto those instances of security and happiness that we encounter, remembering that they are a precious gift.
