On Monday, September 4th, Israel Bonds had the honor to co-host, together with Yad Vashem Mexico, an event full of magic and fun: “Braiding Challah with the Challah Prince.” We are thankful that we had the opportunity to work in such a vibrant atmosphere. To tell us more about this enriching and exciting event, we asked Idan Chabasov —The Challah Prince—to share his experience working with us.

“I am thrilled to share my recent visit to Mexico City for a “Challah-Braiding Event” for Rosh Hashanah, which was a fantastic experience. With more than 400 attendees in two different events, this was nothing short of spectacular.

From the moment I stepped into this magnificent city, I was enveloped in warm hospitality until the event's big day, supported and hosted by Israel Bonds and Yad Vashem, which made this time an unforgettable journey for me.

The choice of venue was impeccable, offering a blend of modernity and tradition that perfectly mirrored the event's spirit. Every detail was executed flawlessly, creating an inviting and visually stunning atmosphere.

The event was not just about braiding challah but a celebration of Jewish culture and history, spirituality, and identity.

The attendees of all ages brought a diverse dynamic and fun energy to the event. It was simply a fantastic way to celebrate Judaism in an Innovative way.

Although Israel Bonds and Yad Vashem invited me from Israel to do my "Challah show," the event was not just about braiding challah but a celebration of Jewish culture and history, spirituality, and identity.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all who played a part in making this event a remarkable success. Mexico City, you've left a mark on my heart, and I can't wait to return for more unforgettable experiences.
